Welcome To the NASSAC Homepage
WHAT IS NASSAC?
Unfortunately today, belief in God and the advancement of truth and science knowledge are often at odds in the minds of many misinformed individuals. The truth is, the more we learn about the true nature of our universe the more we discovery that the Word of God is NOT at odds with modern scientific findings. To those that oppose such conclusions, We would suggest you read a few books before you dismiss our position. Two books we often recommend doubters and skeptics to read is "Why The Universe Is The Way It Is" and Reasons To Believe", by Hugh Ross. We also suggest you visit www.genesisbigbang.com and watch the video that Neill G. Russell, author of "Newton's Riddle", has put together concerning the work of Dr. Gerald Schroeder, an MIT Physics professor. The video will reconcile the six days of creation with the estimated 15 billion year age of the universe.
NASSAC was started to assist educators with improving the level of Math and Science taught in the classroom through the use of flight SIMULATION. We built a very realistic multi-purpose simulator that is housed in a portable trailer that we transport to different locations. With the simulator we are able to simulate jet and prop aircraft of any type with significant flight controls and glass cockpit MFDs. We use Microsoft FSX with many add-ons to greatly enhance the flight experience for the student. We also simulate SPACE FLIGHT, using Orbiter by Dr. Martin Schewgier who has created this wonderful space flight simulation software. The software is free along with thousands of add-on packages made by an enthusiastic and very capable space flight community around the world. Orbiter simulations are based on real physics and provide a realistic challenge to those interested in space flight. In schools we initiate programs that challenge the students with missions that they themselves conduct. We set up control towers or a MISSION CONTROL network so students can interact with the flight world. Along the way they learn how to work as a team towards the accomplishment of a very challenging goal. And along the way they also gain many advanced skills that will greatly enhance their educational experience.
We have taken students to the ISS and to the moon in past space missions simulations. It was an experience they will never forget. NASSAC gives students an opportunity to put their science, math, communication skills and many other disciplines to use. It is a "hands-on" educational experience. This website was created to share those experiences with the greater part of the outside world so that others may join in the experience to the glory of God and His wonderful creation.
"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." Colossians 1:12-18
Site Updates are coming!
This site represents a return of NASSAC to the web after more than a years absence. Please understand that this site is a work in progress and will be updated when time permits in our very busy schedule. Thank you for understanding.

Behind the Scenes of My Home Page
Below is a picture of the NASSAC Simulator cockpit configured for space flight. The Simulator utilizes 5 onboard computers with 13 LCD screens. Goflight programable hardware, Orbiter, VMC2 and MEDs software to produce the working cokpit seen in this picture. SEE PHOTO PAGE FOR MORE PICTURES.
